Real Madrid seem to be planning for an explosive summer transfer window in 2025, with multiple top names being linked with the club.

Florian Wirtz of Bayer Leverkusen is at the top of the wishlist while Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies is also very much on the agenda with his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Another name being heavily linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu is Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will also be a free agent next year.

As such, the former Borussia Dortmund ace is pushing the Liverpool homegrown star hard to join him in the Spanish capital club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

What has Alexander-Arnold said?

This past weekend, Alexander-Arnold opened up on the matter of his future, dropping hints that he could consider a departure away from the club as he desires to win trophies in his career.

“The most important thing is always trophies. I want to win trophies, I am a player who is highly motivated by trophies, and winning things and being elite. So that is probably the main factor,” he said.

“I want to be a Liverpool player this season is what I will say .Look, I have been at the club for 20 years now. I have signed four or five contract extensions and none of those have been played out in public. This one won’t be either,” he added.
