A leading summer target on the part of La Liga giants Real Madrid is nothing short of desperate to join the club this summer.

That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Leny Yoro as the player in question.

Youngster Yoro has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the media headlines across the continent for some time now.

This comes amid interest in his services on the part of a whole host of top European clubs.

Considered the next breakthrough star of French football, the 18-year-old is known to be front and centre on the wishlist, for one, of La Liga champions Real Madrid.

On the lookout for reinforcements at the back following the now-confirmed departure of captain Nacho, Real have long earmarked Yoro as a profile who could go on to lead the club’s defensive ranks for the next decade and beyond.

And, if the latest word doing the rounds in the media on Sunday is anything to go by, the interest between the two parties is beyond mutual.

Speaking on his official YouTube channel this evening, the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Yoro is nothing short of ‘obsessed’ with playing for Real Madrid.

Talks, in turn, are ongoing between the two clubs, with confidence growing that an agreement will ultimately be found.
