Real Madrid have welcomed two new faces to their squad this summer in Kylian Mbappe and Endrick.

While Mbappe is already integrated into the team and has started two matches for Los Blancos, Endrick is still waiting for his debut.

Indeed, manager Carlo Ancelotti has not given the youngster any minutes in the UEFA Super Cup win over Atalanta or the 1-1 draw against RCD Mallorca in La Liga last week.

January loan move a possibility

It was always likely that Real Madrid and Ancelotti would ease Endrick into the thick of things much like they did with Arda Guler last season.

However, considering the number of attacking options at the manager’s disposal and their superior quality, there is a scenario wherein the teenage Brazilian talent will end up without any meaningful minutes on the pitch.

As such, AS reports that there is a possibility that Endrick could be loaned out by Real Madrid in January, depending on how his situation is midway through the season.

Neither Endrick nor his entourage thought that these first months at Real Madrid would be easy. However, the fact that he is the only pure centre-forward in the squad was seen as an advantage.

The youngster’s goal is to stay at Real Madrid and make himself important in Ancelotti’s plans. However, if his presence in the team is marginal, it is not ruled out that he leaves on loan in January.

Therefore, a first assessment of the former Palmeiras whizkid’s situation will be made at Christmas, and a second one in the summer.

Endrick unfazed

Despite the situation, Endrick is confident about himself and his abilities and believes he can make the most of his chances.

After all, he arrived at the club having won two Brasileiraos with Palmeiras and having also broken records with Brazil – for whom scored in his first two games at two historic venues, Wembley and the Bernabéu and then played in the Copa America at just 17.

The pre-season did not go well as he failed to make the most of his opportunities in the first two games against AC Milan and Barcelona, in which he was a starter. Endrick did not play in the game against Chelsea because of muscular discomfort.

The youngster is not fazed by the competition, but his situation will be studied in December and a call will be taken so as to avoid stagnating his progress.
