Real Sociedad announce defender’s long-term contract extension | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Sociedad has late this week committed his long-term future to the club.

This comes amid confirmation that Jon Pacheco has put pen to paper on a contract extension all the way through the summer of 2030.

Defender Pacheco, for his part, has continued to play something of a bit-part role in Imanol’s squad across the season to date.

All told, the 23-year-old has racked up 11 appearances across all competitions, eight of which came in the form of starts.

Whilst he is yet to lock down starter status at Anoeta, however, confidence in Pacheco’s abilities has never been higher amongst those behind the scenes.

Negotiations, in turn, were recently kicked into gear with both the player and his representatives, over the terms of a contract renewal.

And, as alluded to above, on Friday, confirmation of the signing of as much has been forthcoming.

As per a statement across Real Sociedad’s website and social media platforms, Pacheco has been tied down in San Sebastian through the summer of 2030:
