Real Zaragoza lead the race for ex-Barcelona player Konrad de la Fuente | OneFootball

Journalist Matteo Moretto reports that Real Zaragoza are only a few steps away from completing the signing of Konrad de la Fuente.

The 21-year-old winger has many offers to choose from, with Burnley, Stoke, and Utrecht all competing for the youngster.

Hull City are the other club alongside Zaragoza who are best positioned to sign De la Fuente.

De la Fuente currently plays for Olympiacos, on loan with an option to buy from Marseille. Clubs intending to court the player will have to come to an agreement with the French side.

He signed from FC Barcelona for €3m, where he worked his way up the youth system.

For Barça’s first team, the young American was called into the squad during the 2020-21 season, but he never came off the bench in the various La Liga games he was called up for.

De la Fuente did, however, play in two Champions League games, against Dynamo Kyiv and Ferencvaros.
