It is an important couple of weeks for Mamadou Diakhon (19) and Stade de Reims, who will look to secure their top-flight status this coming weekend before facing Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the Coupe de France. The two matches could be the final ones for Diakhon, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The France youth international has already played over 15 matches this season, meaning that the winger’s extension has been automatically triggered. His contract with Reims now runs until the summer of 2027. However, Tavolieri understands that Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to buy him out of that contract.

Eintracht Frankfurt already have an agreement on personal terms with Diakhon. Having reached an agreement on personal terms, the Bundesliga side will now try and find an agreement with Les Stadistes, who according to Tavolieri, are asking for €10m for the winger.

The German side are scouring the French market for wingers this summer with the club also interested in RC Strasbourg Alsace’s Dilane Bakwa.
