Rémy Cabella (34) has officially announced his departure from Lille OSC via Instagram, bringing an end to a two-year spell in the north of France. The former Marseille and Saint-Étienne attacking midfielder is out of contract this summer and will leave the club after a season that could yet culminate in Champions League qualification.Cabella joined LOSC in 2022 following a stint at Russian side Krasnodar and became a dependable figure under Paulo Fonseca, featuring regularly and adding experience to an otherwise youthful Lille squad. In the 2023-2024, he played his part in a spirited European campaign, as the Dogues reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League before a dramatic penalty shootout exit to Aston Villa. He was involved in Les Dogues’ Champions League campaign this season under Bruno Génésio.“I don’t know how to thank you for these three beautiful years and all the love you gave me!
