Rennes predicted XI v Strasbourg: Benjamin Bourigeaud absent ahead of departure | OneFootball

Stade Rennais will be without Benjamin Bourigeaud as they head to face RC Strasbourg Alsace. The club legend is edging closer to a transfer.

Having reached an agreement with Al-Duhail in Qatar, Bourigeaud is on the verge of a move away from Rennes and as a result, he has been left out of the matchday squad to face Strasbourg. He is the only notable absence from Julien Stéphan’s matchday squad as SRFC look to build on their victory over Olympique Lyonnais last weekend.

Understandably, Stéphan is not expected to spring any surprises against Les Alsaciens. He is expected to field a largely unchanged XI, although Adrien Truffert is expected to return to the lineup. Arnaud Kalimuendo, also linked with a move away, may once again have to settle for a place on the bench.
