Midfielder Davide Frattesi has told Inter Milan that he wants to leave as Roma get ready to try and sign him this month.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the 25-year-old has given his transfer request.
Frattesi’s situation at Inter has not quite become a soap opera yet. But it has certainly started to grab the headlines.
The Italian international reportedly is not happy with the playing time he’s receiving at Inter.
And Roma are the club with the keenest interest in taking advantage of the 25-year-old’s desire to leave.
The Giallorossi do know that a move for Frattesi will hardly be easy.
Inter are still going to hold out for a significant fee for the former Sassuolo midfielder.
And reports indicate that the Nerazzurri are not going to waver very much at all in negotiations, or lower their financial demands in a player-plus-swap deal or something similar.
However, Frattesi’s will to leave could very well be decisive.
According to the Corriere, the Italian international has made his desire clear to Inter.
Frattesi has handed in his transfer request, the newspaper report. He wants a change of scenery during the January transfer window.
