Report: West Ham and Everton Eye Serie A Amid Uncertain Future

Tammy Abraham’s future remains an open book, and as Calciomercato reports, the English striker is facing a crossroads. With his loan spell at Milan unlikely to become permanent, Abraham must decide whether a return to the Premier League is his best option.
“Milan have decided not to confirm the Englishman and there is little chance that he will return.” Abraham’s spell in Italy has been underwhelming. Eight goals in 35 appearances across all competitions do not scream long-term investment. His most memorable moment? A goal in the Italian Super Cup final against Inter. That alone is not enough to justify Milan’s commitment.

The report suggests a return to Roma in the summer is inevitable, but only as a temporary stop. “Abraham will return to Roma in the summer, but it will only be in passing because his cycle in Giallorossi ended last summer with the arrival of Dovbyk.” Roma have moved on, and so must he.
Interest is not lacking, though. “London calls, will Abraham answer?” West Ham have already engaged in talks, while Wolverhampton and Everton are also monitoring the situation. “The Hammers are strongly interested as are other English clubs (Wolverhampton, Everton among others).”
A Premier League return would not be a challenge, but Abraham has higher ambitions. “For Tammy there would be no problem in returning to the Premier League, but he would like a top-tier club.” Whether that opportunity arises remains to be seen.
For now, his immediate focus remains on Milan, with a potential “surprise finish” to the season. But the writing is on the wall—his Italian adventure is nearing its conclusion.
Tammy Abraham’s situation is one that will intrigue Premier League fans, particularly those from West Ham, Wolves, and Everton. But is he really the striker to take a club to the next level?
West Ham’s interest makes sense—they need attacking reinforcements, and Abraham is a proven Premier League goalscorer. But scepticism exists. His numbers at Milan are hardly inspiring. Eight goals in 35 games? That’s not the record of a clinical finisher.
Everton and Wolves fans might see him as a step up, but at 26, should Abraham be settling for mid-table clubs? If he wants a return to England’s elite, he needs a strong end to the season in Italy. Milan may be done with him, but he needs to prove he’s not done at the top level.
Would a big club take a punt? That remains the biggest question. For now, Abraham must let his football do the talking.
