After a move to RB Leipzig fell through earlier in the window, AC Milan are attempting to find a move for Noah Okafor, and there is Premier League interest present.
It seemed like a move to Leipzig was done and dusted for Okafor, and when a video was released with him saying his goodbyes to Milan at the airport, that was it… right? Well shortly after, he returned to the Rossoneri, and now, the mission has restarted. Find the Swissman a new club.
Milan News writes today that the attacker is fit, but desires a ‘better condition’, and a move away is seemingly the route preferred by all parties moving forward. In the same report, it is suggested that the management have ‘received expressions’ that could become concrete in the next few days from the Premier League.
The negotiations, if they solidify, will start from the same point as the failed Leipzig exit: a €2 million loan with a buy clause of €26m inserted.
To follow this up, Gazzetta dello Sport have also published similar information, and the interest has come from West Ham United and Bournemouth. However, the report, which has been relayed by Milan News, also states that there is a list of appreciators, so a move to one of these two clubs is not guaranteed, even if they are the ‘most interested’.
