REVEALED: Bale and Barnett sitting out Real Madrid contract for REVENGE

Gareth Bale is determined to see out his contract at Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

The 31 year-old has a deal to 2022 with Real.

And both Bale and agent Jonathan Barnett, reports Marca, will stubbornly sit out those remaining two years as an act of revenge.

The pair are still upset after Real president Florentino Perez blocked Bale from moving to Jiangsu Suning a year ago. The contract on the table from the Chinese was worth a staggering €28m-a-year.

Perez's insistence that Jiangsu Suning pay a fee at the time saw the Chinese pull the plug on the deal and left a fuming Bale in Madrid.

As such, the Welshman and his agent now plan to see out the remaining two years of his Real deal - even if it means spending those two seasons in the stands.
