Inter Milan are “crazy” about Como midfielder Nico Paz – and have a plan to convince Real Madrid on a transfer.

This according to Italian outlet Gazzetta.it. They report that the Nerazzurri could use a similar formula to the deal for Brahim Diaz at AC Milan.

20-year-old Argentine international Paz has been one of the breakout stars of the Serie A season.

Nico Paz joined Como from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.

The Lariani paid a fee of around €6 million to sign Paz from Real Madrid.

And the deal was not a loan. Como signed Paz outright from Los Blancos.

However, as the Gazzetta note, Real Madrid have a buyback option. For a fee of around €9 million, they can sign Paz back next summer.

Inter Milan “Crazy” About Nico Paz – Plan Hatched To Convince Real Madrid

There would not seem to be much doubt about Real’s intention to sign Paz back.

The Argentine’s form this season has been outstanding. There is little doubt that his value has risen dramatically.

Therefore, Real will decide whether they want to keep Paz in their squad, or sell him for a profit next summer.

A lot could depend on the La Liga giants’ own decision about their future.

Carlo Ancelotti will depart as coach. And depending on who replaces the Italian tactician, they could very well decide that they want to make Paz a part of their first team plans.

However, Real Madrid already have plenty of competition in forward and attacking midfield areas.

Therefore, there is a good probability that Los Blancos will be ready to listen to offers for Paz next summer.

And Inter have a plan to try and convince Real, the Gazzetta report.

There will be no shortage of competition for Paz’s signature.

However, Inter could offer a deal for Nico Paz similar to the one which saw Real sell Brahim Diaz to AC Milan.

That would mean that Los Blancos retain a buyback clause, active a couple of years down the line.

Therefore, Real wouldn’t necessarily lose control of Paz’s future for good.
