Arsenal welcomed Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a solid start to the contest and got their noses ahead in the 34th minute when Declan Rice found the back of the net. Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The Cherries equalised in the 67th minute thanks to Dean Huijsen’s goal before Evanilson completed the turnaround just eight minutes later. The match ended with Arsenal suffering a tough 2-1 defeat in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player fared during the match against the Cherries.
GK: David Raya – 5/10
Raya failed to make a save in the game and could have done better to prevent Evanilson’s match-winner.
RB: Ben White – 6.5/10
He did his fair share of defending and was a strong presence in the air.
CB: William Saliba – 6.5/10
Saliba put his foot through the ball when he could but it was not enough tonight.
CB: Jakub Kiwior – 6/10
He made a couple of important clearances inside his half but was far from convincing on the defensive end of the field.

Odegaard caught the eye at times and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Thomas Partey – 6/10
He earned the ball back once and made two decent runs from midfield.
CM: Declan Rice – 8/10
Rice made a positive impact at both ends of the pitch and scored the opening goal in the 34th minute.
RW: Bukayo Saka – 6/10
He was not shy of having a strike at goal but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
ST: Leandro Trossard – 6.5/10
Trossard caused some headaches for the Bournemouth defenders but there was no goal for him this evening.
LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 7/10
Martinelli caught the eye at times on the left flank but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.
ST: Mikel Merino – 6/10
He made one positive run with the ball.
