Speaking to Bild, Borussia Mönchengladbach forward Robin Hack spoke on the rumours surrounding his future this summer.

Hack had been linked with VfB Stuttgart as well as Juventus and Bologna which would have given him the chance to play in the Champions League this season for either club. However, a move never materialised and he stayed at Gladbach.

On the rumours surrounding his future, the 26-year-old said:

“Yes, of course, I followed everything, that’s for sure. I’m also honored. I didn’t come to Gladbach to leave after just one year. I still have a lot planned here and I’d like to leave my mark here. It’s a great club where I feel extremely comfortable. The start wasn’t easy, but in the second half of the season things went really well for me.”

The winger joined Gladbach last summer from Armininia Bielefeld for €1.1m, after a slow start at Borussia Park, Hack picked up form in the latter half of the season scoring all but one of his goals in 2024.

However, Hack has struggled with a foot injury which meant he made his first appearance of the season off the bench in Gladbach’s 2-0 win against Bochum just before the international break.

Die Fohlen’s first game back after the international break is against a winless VfB Stuttgart side at home, the exact game last season was the game that kick-started Hack’s second half of the season form.
