According to Le Parisien, Robson Bambu (26) will not return to OGC Nice once his loan at Arouca expires this summer. Instead, he looks set to join SC Braga.

Bambu has never managed to establish himself at Nice since his €8m move from Athletico-PR back in the summer of 2020. He has only ever made 24 appearances for the club in all competitions, whilst his last Ligue 1 appearance came in March 2021. In search of game time, Bambu has had to look elsewhere and he has had loan spell as Corinthians, Vasco da Gama, and more recently Arouca.

Since joining the Portuguese side in January, Bambu has made 10 appearances for Arouca and his stay in Portugal may now be extended. Le Parisien understands that an agreement between Nice and SC Braga has almost been reached. Bambu is therefore on the verge of leaving Les Aiglons on a permanent transfer.
