Roma and Ajax agree terms for Rensch transfer at 4-5m | OneFootball

Multiple sources report that Roma have now agreed all terms with Ajax for full-back Devyne Rensch in a deal worth €4-5m.

The player had already given the all-clear for the transfer to the Stadio Olimpico and accepted the personal terms on offer.

His current contract with Ajax is set to expire in June 2025, so it was in their interests to get the deal done and avoid losing him as a free agent at the end of this season.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Corriere dello Sport and more, the two clubs have now agreed a fee of €4-5m.

Rensch is so close to the Roma move that he is not expected to be in the squad for this weekend’s match against Heerenveen.

The right-back can also play on the left and it is this versatility that alerted coach Claudio Ranieri and director of sport Florent Ghisolfi.

So far this term, Rensch has played 25 games with Ajax, contributing one goal and one assist.
