At the moment, Dybala’s future at Roma is up in the air.

The Argentine is heading into his third season with the Giallorossi. He joined from Juventus on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.

Dybala has been a key player for Roma over the past couple of seasons. He has been a regular source of goals and assists as well as attacking inspiration.

But there is a sense that the 30-year-old is no longer a part of the project at the Stadio Olimpico.

This was in evidence in yesterday’s Serie A opener away to Cagliari.

Dybala was not in the Roma starting eleven for that match, a 0-0 draw. He did, however, come off the bench.

Dybala and his representatives are considering his next move, if he is to leave Roma.

One possibility would be a move to the Saudi Pro League. Al-Qadsiah have made a massive money offer to try and lure the Argentine away from Europe.

But according to the Corriere della Sera, Dybala’s representatives have also sounded out the possibility of a move to Inter.

Dybala has been strongly linked with the Nerazzurri in the past.

In the summer of 2022, there had been negotiations between Inter and Dybala’s camp on a free transfer deal after his contract with Juventus expired.

There was even reportedly an agreement on a move.

However, Inter never sealed the deal, preferring to bring back Romelu Lukaku instead.

But according to the Corriere della Sera, Dybala’s representatives contacted Inter again recently in light of the player’s situation at Roma.

However, the newspaper continues, Inter turned down the opportunity to potentially sign Dybala.

Nerazzurri owners Oaktree Capital have mandated that the club focus on investing in younger player.

A player of Dybala’s age and wage demands would not fit the kind of profile that Oaktree want to build around.
