Lorenz Assignon is about to become Roma’s next reinforcement.
The French right-back will go to fill the gap in the right lane of De Rossi’s defence. The distance with Rennes is now minimal.

According to Sky Sport, the two clubs have already reached an agreement on the total amount of the operation, equal to €10 million.
However, the French side would like to increase the loan fee from €1 to €2 million and lower the amount for the obligation to €8 million (Roma are proposing €1+9 million formula).
Rennes would also like to review some final details regarding the terms of payment of the total amount, but the negotiation is now in the final stages and the deal does not appear in question.
