Once again the Friedkin ownership helped Roma get an important signing over the line.
With the arrival of Artem Dovbyk to the Italian capital, more reports are starting to emerge, claiming the crucial role Dan and Ryan Friedkin played in negotiations with the player and Girona.

As per today’s edition of Leggo, The operation conducted personally by Dan Friedkin led to the third most expensive purchase in Roma history.
To unlock the signing of Dovbyk, the Roma president first convinced the player to reject Atletico Madrid’s proposal.
Then, Friedkin was able to convince Girona to lower their requests through the solid relationship with Soriano, the CEO of the City group.
Ultimately, the deal was completed for a total of 38.5 million euros.
