Multiple reports in Italy claim Roma have picked Inter’s Alessandro Antonello as their new CEO to replace Lina Souloukou.
Inter Corporate CEO Antonello will be the new Roma CEO, replacing Lina Souloukou, who resigned in September following Daniele De Rossi’s sacking.
Gazzetta and Sky Sport Italia claim that Roma will announce Antonello’s appointment once the 59-year-old formally ends his agreement with the Nerazzurri.

Antonello was spotted in Rome in recent weeks and has been working on Inter’s financial development in recent years, but also had a role in the new stadium plans.
Gazzetta reports that Roma owners know Antonello well because the Inter director is part of the ECA Board and has been working closely with Dan Friedkin, the ECA Vice President.
Roma have been considering several candidates in recent months, including Claudio Fenucci and Marzio Perrelli, but ultimately, the Giallorossi picked Antonello as their new CEO, and an official announcement from the club is expected in the coming weeks.
