Roma and Rennes have reached an agreement for the transfer of Enzo Le Fée (24), according to a report from L’Equipe. Sources contacted by Get French Football News can confirm that the Giallorossi are set to pay €23m to their Ligue 1 counterparts to acquire the services of the gifted French midfielder. The latter had previously reached an agreement on personal terms with the Serie A club based on a five-year deal and informed Rennes his mind was set on moving to Italy. RMC Sport understands that Enzo Le Feé will undergo a medical in the coming days.

Rennes had previously refused two bids submitted by Roma before settling on a €23m transfer fee. The Ligue 1 club wanted to recoup more of the €20m they paid to Lorient last year. AS Roma Sporting Director Florent Ghisolfi, who knew Enzo Le Fée as a promising Lorient youth product, when he was Les Merlus’ first team deputy coach, has been the driving force behind the move.

Enzo Le Fée is the fifth Rennes player to leave the Brittany club this summer transfer window after Jeanuël Belocian (Bayer Leverkusen), Fabian Rieder (Vfb Stuttgart), Alfred Gomis (Palermo) and Matthis Abline (Nantes).
