Roma midfielder Enzo Le Fée is edging closer to an exit from the Italian capital despite his big-money move to the club in the summer.
The Frenchman’s season has been turbulent to say the least—marred by injury setbacks and inconsistent playing time. As a result, he’s keen to secure a transfer to a new club in January with the hope of finding more minutes.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are progressing in transfer discussions with Real Betis over a potential deal for Le Fée. The Spanish side are working to acquire the midfielder on an initial loan deal with the option to make it permanent in the summer.
The two sides will continue negotiations over the coming days, and there’s optimism a final agreement could be secure as early as next week.
