Al Hilal rounded off the set on Tuesday night for Roshn Saudi League representatives in the AFC Champions Elite, with all three through to the knockout stages with three rounds to spare.

The reigning RSL champions, second in the 2024-25 standings, booked their spot in the last 16 courtesy of a 1-1 draw at Al Sadd in Qatar, where Ali Al Bulaihi scored the opener for the visitors. The point moved Al Hilal to second in the 12-team West Asian section, with their 13 points enough to seal a place in the next round.

Al Hilal will be joined there by Al Ahli and Al Nassr, who sit first and third respectively. Al Ahli maintained their 100 percent record in the competition by defeating Asian champions Al Ain 2-1 in the UAE on Monday - Ivan Toney scored both goals - meaning they are the only team in the table with a maximum 15 points.

Al Nassr, meanwhile, were later confirmed as advancing to the last 16 having already seen off Al Gharafa 3-1 in Qatar on Monday. Captain Cristiano Ronaldo netted twice, with Angelo Gabriel getting the other. The victory lifted Al Nassr to 13 points, and ensured they remain unbeaten in the rebranded tournament – much like Al Hilal and Al Ahli.

Also on the continent, Al Taawoun are going strong in the AFC Champions League Two. The Buraidah side, currently eighth in the RSL, lead Group B with three wins from four matches. Rodolfo Arruabarrena’s men host second-placed Al Khalidya of Bahrain on Wednesday night before they take on Al Raed three days later in the first Qassim Derby of the season.
