Rudy and Akpoguma sidelined with injuries

During the 3-1 defeat to SC Freiburg, Sebastian Rudy tore the medial collateral ligament and a bone edema in his left knee. Fortunately, it does not look to be as complicated a knee injury as was initially feared. In addition, Kevin Akpoguma suffered an injury to the muscles and tendons of his left thigh. Both TSG players will be out for a while. Get better soon, lads!

Kramarić named in the Team of the Round

Praise for Andrej Kramarić: football magazine ''kicker'' and newspaper ''BILD'' have named the Croatian in their respective Teams of the Round in recognition of his impressive performance in TSG's 2-1 win away to Borussia Mönchengladbach.  The TSG striker found the back of the net again on Saturday, meaning he has now scored eight goals this season.
