Every football fan wants nothing more than to watch one of their own come through the academy to star at the club. In the case of Fulham supporters, they're once again enjoying the sight of Ryan Sessegnon back at Craven Cottage.
After coming through the youth ranks, Sessegnon was one of the most talked about English youngsters in quite some time, and his first stint with the capital club, including a brilliant 2017/18 Championship season, saw his stock soar rapidly.
Ultimately, the Roehampton-born versatile midfielder found his way to Tottenham but would find nothing more than a hard life on the other side of London.
Across five seasons brutally impacted by injury, the former England youth star managed just two goals to his name, but since returning to Fulham just before the current Premier League season, Sessegnon has found a new lease on life along the Thames.
With his goal against Liverpool, a 23rd-minute leveler to cancel out Alexis Mac Allister's thunderbolt, Sessegnon bagged his third goal of the season; more goals than during his entire stint with Spurs.
He's one of their own, and he's enjoying life once again.
