AS Saint-Étienne must contend with a whole raft of absentees as they prepare to face AJ Auxerre at the Stade de l’Abbé Deschamps on Friday night.
Ibrahim Sissoko remains suspended. He was handed a five-game ban for a reckless tackle in the Coupe de France and whilst that suspension is now nearing expiry, he will not be available for selection tonight. Louis Mouton and Benjamin Bouchouari also miss this one through suspension for Saint-Étienne.
Injuries are also hindering ASSE’s selection options. Yvann Maçon is out, as are Thomas Monconduit, Ben Old, and Ibrahima Wadji.
Heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, Mathis Amougou is expected to start in the centre of midfield for Les Verts, whilst Lucas Stassin will lead the line.
