There is always room for improvement at a club like FC Barcelona, but it almost always comes at a cost. Unlike before, the Catalan giants can no longer pursue just about anyone that they wish to sign. Instead, Barcelona are now expected to tread carefully when it comes to financial dealings.

Over the last few years, the club has needed to be cautious and alert when dealing with any kind of major investment. Even in terms of player signings, Barcelona are now all too familiar with the potential registration issues that can pop up as well.

However, generating revenue is important right now if Barça wants to reinvest it somewhere else. For that reason, it is never a bad idea to at least consider any incoming offers for players, even if they are players that the club is not exactly willing to sell just yet.

Saudi Arabia comes calling for Fermin Lopez

Reportedly, there is now a lucrative offer on the table for Fermin Lopez as well. According to Miguel Rico (h/t FCB World), the 22-year-old Spanish midfielder has a significant offer from Saudi Arabi that could potentially give him an annual salary of more than €8 million.

It would be a massive deal for the player, especially considering his young age. Moreover, given the fact that Fermin Lopez is not exactly a defined starter for the team, a salary like that could be life-changing in terms of financial security.

At the same time, however, he is a player who remains committed to Barcelona at every level. He has played and delivered whenever he has been called upon by Hansi Flick and he is undeniably a player who can provide a lot of quality no matter when he is brought on.

Barcelona might still want Luis Diaz

Moreover, Barcelona would reportedly be unwilling to sell the player for less than €60 million. Still, even if the club does ultimately decide to sell him, it would reportedly not be because of a lack of quality but instead to reinforce some other position.

As per Miguel Rico, that position could involve a certain Liverpool winger by the name of Luis Diaz potentially. Having been linked to Barcelona for quite some time, he could be a name to keep an eye out for when considering the Catalan club’s future moves in the transfer window.
