The full-back has only played eight games this season and the possibility of leaving the capital seemed concrete. According to what was reported by Okaz Sports, several clubs were interested in the footballer originally from Saudi Arabia. The best offer would have come from a Saudi club: Al-Ittihad.

Other teams interested were Al-Hilal, the Asian champions Al-Ahli, Neom Sports Club and a French club.

His agent, Ahmed Almualim, denied these rumours, who through his Twitter profile stated that the farewell of the player was never in question. A

lmualim was keen to add that the footballer has a contract with Roma until 2027/28 and that anyone who claims otherwise is telling lies.
