The Scottish FA have announced that all professional fixtures are set to return next weekend.
It follows the postponement of last week’s fixtures as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
But they now intend to resume games in the Scottish Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two as normal, subject to Police Scotland resourcing.
Any fixtures which fall on Monday, September 19 will be moved given that is the date for the state funeral.
The SFA also announced that in keeping with the period of national mourning, home sides this week are given the option of holding a minute’s silence, and/or playing the national anthem and having players wear black armbands should they wish to do so.
Rangers’ Champions League clash with Napoli at Ibrox has already been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday for policing reasons, with no away fans permitted to attend.
