Milan have confirmed the appointment of Sérgio Conceição as their new head coach.
Conceição takes the reins from compatriot Paulo Fonseca, who was relieved of his duties earlier on Monday, on an initial 18-month deal at the San Siro.
The 50-year-old has been out of work since bringing a seven-year spell with Porto, where he won three Liga Portugal titles, to an end last summer.
Conceição is no stranger to the Italian top flight, having won the Scudetto with Lazio as a player alongside spells with Parma and Milan's local rivals Inter.
His first game is set to be a family reunion with son Francisco currently on loan at the Rossoneri's upcoming Supercoppa Italiana semi-final opponents Juventus.
