Serie A: Inter vs. Empoli – probable line-ups and where to watch | OneFootball

Inter are back in Serie A action on Sunday evening as they look to close the gap on Napoli at the top of the league table during their home match against Empoli in San Siro.

Simone Inzaghi has a couple of selection headaches to manage. Pre-match reports suggest that Benjamin Pavard is likely to return to the back three alongside Stefan De Vrij, but some outlets claim that Carlos Augusto is set to start ahead of Alessandro Bastoni on the left of the three.

Hakan Calhanoglu is still unavailable, and while Henrikh Mkitaryan is expected to return to the squad, it could still be one too soon to see him in the starting line-up, which likely means a midfield of Nicolo Barella, Kristjan Asllani and Piotr Zielinski again.

Lautaro Martinez should keep his place up front, but Mehdi Taremi could be given a go in place of Marcus Thuram alongside him.

Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
