The January transfer window in Serie A is now officially open, and two sides in the division have wasted no time in bringing in new arrivals.
The January transfer window officially opened on Thursday morning, January 2, and will remain open until midnight of February 3 in Serie A.
Monza were the first club in the division to make a new signing this window, confirming the signing of Jean-David Akpa Akpro on a straight loan deal from Lazio until the end of the 2024-25 season.

It is a return for the Ivorian, who had already spent the 2023-24 season on loan with Monza.
Fiorentina have also registered a new addition on Thursday morning, as they confirmed the signing of Argentine centre-back Nicolas Valentini on a free transfer.
