Sevilla have confirmed the transfer of Lucas Ocampos to Liga MX side Monterrey.
The moves brings an end to a five-year stay for the Argentine winger in Andalusia, in which time he made 208 appearances for the LaLiga side, scoring 44 goals and providing 22 assists.
The 30-year-old joined Sevilla from Marseille and quickly became a key player, scoring 17 goals in his debut campaign (2019-20) as the club won yet another Europa League title and also secured Champions League football through a fourth-placed league finish.
He would win a second Europa crown three seasons later, although by this time, his importance to the side had dwindled, reflected by a loan spell at Ajax in the first half of that campaign. He did, however, score a penalty in the shootout victory over Roma in the final.
He joins Monterrey with seven games gone in the Liga MX season, and the five-time league champions currently sat in fifth place, three points behind leaders Cruz Azul.
