The first-team squad at La Liga outfit Sevilla endured nothing short of a nightmare evening on Saturday.
This came as their meeting with Celta Vigo was followed by a ruthless backlash on the part of a section of the club’s supporters.
Sevilla marked their return to action yesterday evening, making the trip to Balaídos for a meeting with the aforementioned Celta.
When all was said and done, the Nervionenses slipped to another defeat, despite their hosts having been reduced to 10 men late in the first-half.
And safe to say, that the eventual outcome in Vigo did not go down at all well with the club’s fans…
As showcased in the footage below, amid accusations of their side’s players not respecting the jersey, a group of supporters broke into Sevilla’s training ground last night.
This came in an effort to reach Joaquín Caparrós’ squad, who had returned to the Jose Ramon Cisneros Palacios training complex on the back of their defeat.
So serious was the situation considered, that Sevilla’s stars, in turn, were forced to sleep overnight at the facility.
