WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blades this morning.
The 28-year-old joins Sheffield United off the back of a brief spell with London City Lionesses last season.
Bailey has a wealth of experience in the professional game. The player started her senior career with Arsenal in 2013 before spending four years across London with Chelsea. Bailey then enjoyed three years with Liverpool and she was a Barclays Women’s Championship winner with The Reds in 2021/2022. The midfielder briefly joined London City Lionesses last season and she made one appearance for the club in a Women’s League Cup fixture against Arsenal.
Having now joined Sheffield United, Bailey will be hoping to get back to playing on a regular basis.
After signing on at Bramall Lane, Bailey said “I’m really happy to be here. It came quite quickly, so I’m just ready to get going and start playing for the team.
“It’s been good. I know a few of the girls already so that’s made things easier when you know a few familiar faces.”
Bailey could be involved for Sheffield United when they travel to Newcastle United this weekend.
