Sir Jim Ratcliffe has increased his stake in Manchester United, almost 12 months after his takeover was announced.
According to reports, the INEOS chief has pumped another £79m into the club, taking his stake in the Red Devils from 27.7% to 28.94%.
He has also transferred that stake from himself personally to his INEOS brand, which also looks after FC Lausanne-Sport and OGC Nice.
However, those hoping for a transfer frenzy will be disappointed, with the funds reportedly earmarked for infrastructure but will be used across the club.
