Heung-min Son is approaching a decade at Tottenham Hotspur and it’s fair to say the South Korean has been one of the division’s finer performers in that time.
After an underwhelming first season in North London, Son has emerged as one of the Premier League’s most consistent forwards. The 32-year-old has reached 10+ league goals in eight straight seasons for Spurs and is already halfway to that total again after netting against Southampton this weekend.
Son scored one and created two more in a 5-0 win at St Mary’s, earning two pieces of Premier League history in the process. His brace of assists means the Spurs captain has now provided the joint-most Premier League assists for the club (68), alongside Darren Anderton.
Son has also joined an exclusive group of Premier League players to have scored in 100+ different games. He’s only the 20th player to have achieved that feat.
