Roma told Milan they would be eager to retain Alexis Saelemaekers when his loan ends next summer, prompting the Rossoneri to ask them to include Matias Soulé in a potential deal.

The Rossoneri are in search of an offensive reinforcement, with a number of names linked with a move to the San Siro in recent weeks, including the likes of Marcus Rashford, Joao Felix and Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez.

However, they added a further option to their list when Giallorossi director Florent Ghisolfi contacted them to find a way to make Saelemaekers’s transfer to the Stadio Olimpico permanent.

Milan target Soulé in potential swap with Roma for Saelemaekers

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan told Roma they would be open to losing the wing-back in a deal that would see Matias Soulé move in the opposite direction, which would allow them to bolster Sergio Conceição’s attack with a limited economic effort.
