Southampton To Start Discussions Soon On Landing Attacker | OneFootball

Premier League outfit Southampton are showing interest in Toulouse wide forward Zakaria Aboukhlal.

Saints have been active throughout this summer transfer window and they are not intending to conclude their business yet.

Earlier today it was suggested that they are closing in on a deal to sign Ligue 1 top prospect Daouda Traore and now they are looking at another Ligue 1 star.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Saints are now showing interest in 24-year-old Morocco international Aboukhlal.

It has been suggested that even though Southampton have not made an offer for him, they will start talking to Toulouse soon.

Aboukhlal joined the French outfit two years back and has played more than 50 games for them, contributing to 23 goals in the process.

He missed a massive chunk of the last season due to a serious knee injury but he has played the full 90 minutes for Toulouse in both of their league matches.

Southampton will need to act fast if they want to secure Aboukhlal’s services before transfer deadline day.
