England’s young Lionesses have lost out to Spain in the semi-final of the Women’s Under-19 European Championships.
Scorers: Enderby 47′; Agote Aguirre 25′, Comendador 45′, Arques Lázaro 68′
The Spanish side raced to a 2-0 lead after 45 minutes, but England pulled back a glimmer of hope when Mia Enderby scored just after half-time.
Spain are the tournament holders, and it’s a record-breaking 11th time since they have reached the finals of this competition.
The final will be held at Darius and Girėnas Stadium in Lithuania on Saturday, where Spain will face the winners of Netherlands v France, which will be played later today.
