Spain are producing a performance for the ages on this Friday morning.

It’s been a relatively slow start to the Women’s World Cup with New Zealand and Australia winning by one-goal margins yesterday.

Then we had our first goalless draw overnight and a poor Switzerland outfit just edging Philippines.

But Spain are blowing the doors off this tournament with a stunning first half against Costa Rica.

They have netted three goals before the half hour mark with Aitana Bonmati showing just why she’s considered one of the best in the world right now.

Other big nations will be watching this with dread.
