Strasbourg’s Dilane Bakwa to return against Lens? | OneFootball

One month after suffering a knee injury, Dilane Bakwa (22) could be set to make his return when RC Strasbourg Alsace come up against RC Lens this weekend.

Bakwa suffered the injury during a 1-1 draw against Olympique de Marseille at the Vélodrome on 19th January. The incident happened in the first half of that encounter, during a duel with OM defender Ulisses García. The Frenchman suffered a sprain to his right knee, with L’Équipe reporting at the time that the injury was significant and would keep him on the sidelines for several weeks.

However, he could be in line to return to the fold this weekend. As reported by L’Équipe, the young winger was part of first-team training. There is optimism around the club that he will be included in the matchday squad to face Les Sang et Or at the weekend. It is almost certain, however, that he will not start.
