The England national team features quite a few Aston Villa players lately. This aspect has seen a noticeable uptick under the new manager Thomas Tuchel. It's always nice when Villans perform well for their respective countries and have a good showing. Being able to watch them perform at Villa Park is another thing entirely.

For the first time in over 20 years, VP will host England's senior team, as shared by the club website. The September 6th fixture will see the Three Lions face off against Andorra for a World Cup qualifier. Considering the atmosphere and feel that the grounds provide for each match, it's safe to say that B6 will further elevate the occasion with another level of incredible energy from the supporters.

Starting off with a 2-0 record in charge, Tuchel will look to remain undefeated as the England boss. The fortress that usually houses the Villa team will undoubtedly play a part in ensuring another victory for his side. Considering the form of the players since their last game against Latvia, it would be something of a shock if current Villa players weren't part of the squad for the home nation, playing in their familiar grounds.

During Tuchel's first two fixtures in charge, Ezri Konsa, Morgan Rogers, and Marcus Rashford made the Three Lions lineup. Then injured, Ollie Watkins didn't make the squad, but he'd be expected to at least garner serious consideration. His exclusion would also be something of a surprise.

Possible Aston Villa players who may miss out

The main question is around Rashford. Currently in Dubai, looking to nurse his hamstring, the attacker has made it a public goal of being fit enough to play for England in the summer. Since arriving in Birmingham under Unai Emery, he has looked sharper. So far, the current impression from Tuchel leaves nothing to suggest that if he is fit, he would not be a part of the lineup.

That will all play a factor, as the German will naturally have a deep talent pool to pick from when making his final selections. Injuries will, of course, play a part. Even in the unlikely event that there aren't any Villans during the Andorra match, Villa Park being the setting for the qualifier will make for a spectacular evening.
