Serhou Guirassy is the most in-form striker in Europe right now.
The Stuttgart hit-man found the net again on Saturday to give his side an early lead at Union Berlin, heading home from Anthony Rouault’s cross.
That puts the Guinea international on 14 goals in eight Bundesliga matches this season – the first to hit that incredible record.
In Europe’s top five leagues, only Cristiano Ronaldo scored more goals in the first eight matches of a season in the 21st century (15 for Real Madrid in 2014/15).
If Guirassy keeps up this scoring rate, he will finish the season with 59 goals, which would smash Robert Lewandowski’s record of 41 goals in a single Bundesliga season.
It’s unlikely, but you never know.
