Sunderland closing in on appointment of Raphael Wicky on two-year deal

Sunderland have chosen Swiss manager Raphael Wicky to be their next manager, reportedly on a two-year deal, according to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato.

The Black Cats have been searching for a replacement for Michael Beale since he was dismissed in February, with names such as Will Still and Danny Rohl being on their shortlist.
