Kylian Mbappe recently took part in an interview on BeIN Sports’ Be United programme, where he spoke candidly about his time at Paris Saint-Germain and his ongoing connection to the club.
The interview was conducted by a group of children with disabilities, offering a touching and insightful perspective into the life of the football star.
Mbappe shared his deep appreciation for PSG, reflecting on his seven years at the club. He expressed that it had always been an honour to play for PSG, one of the biggest football clubs in France and in the world.
“I spent seven years at PSG, it was an honour. I don’t think I’ve said it enough, or shown it enough, but I’ve always been aware of where I am and what a great club PSG is,” he began saying.
The Real Madrid forward acknowledged that, although he may not have expressed it enough during his time there, he has always been aware of the privilege of being at such a prestigious club.
“I have always said it is the biggest club in France and one of the best in the world. I went to the biggest club in the world.”
He went on to emphasize that Real Madrid are the only team he would have ever considered leaving PSG for, and if not for his move to Real Madrid, he would have gladly stayed at PSG for his entire career.
Despite his current position at Real Madrid, Mbappe continues to follow PSG’s games closely, staying in touch with his former teammates and supporting the club from afar.
“If I had not been able to go to Real Madrid, I would have stayed at PSG all my life. I had a dream of playing there and I am very happy.
“But of course, I always watch PSG games, I have friends in the team and they are playing well at the moment,” he added.

In the same interview, Mbappe also shared a personal wish about his football journey.
He expressed a desire to have played alongside Zinedine Zidane, a legendary figure in French football. “I will not be chauvinistic and I would say Zinedine Zidane.”
He further spoke about his experience playing with some of the world’s top footballers, including Lionel Messi, Neymar, Antoine Griezmann, Paul Pogba, and Karim Benzema.
However, he admitted that it would have been a special experience to have played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, though he acknowledged that the opportunity has now passed.
“I have played with great players: Messi, Neymar, Griezmann, Pogba, Benzema. It would have been fun to play with Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s going to be very complicated now. But I was lucky to play against him, a legend of the sport,” he admitted
Mbappe highlighted Ronaldo’s status as one of the sport’s true legends, and while he has had the chance to face him on the field, playing together would have been a unique and memorable experience.
