Former BVB chief scout and now technical director Sven Mislintat was sacked from his position this morning in a club announcement on social media. According to the club's statement, Mislintat was personally informed by CEO Lars Ricken of his decision this Thursday.

After returning to his "club of heart" in the summer, Mislintat's second tenure at Borussia Dortmund was marked by friction with sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
