K League on Tuesday announced the final 22-man squad that will face Tottenham Hotspur in the 2024 Coupang Play Series on Wednesday 31st July. There is at least one player from each K League 1 team with three of the current bottom four having one player involved.

Four Pohang Steelers players make it into the squad, three from Ulsan HD, and two from Gangwon FC, Gimcheon Sangmu, Suwon FC, Daegu FC, and FC Seoul while Daejeon, Jeonbuk, Incheon, and Jeju each have just one.

A total of 14 players are domestic with the remaining eight being foreigners.

Injury has forced Jesse Lingard and Ki Sung-yueng to withdraw; Jeong Ho-yeon and Oberdan of Gwangju FC and Pohang Steelers respectively have been brought in as replacements. Daejeon Hana Citizen's 17-year-old prodigy Yoon Do-young also makes it in as one of two teenagers along with Yang Min-hyuk.

There are first Team K League appearances for many including Hwang In-jae, Park Jin-seop, Jeong Ho-yeon, Oberdan, Stanislav Iljutcenko, Lee Myung-jae, Lee Dong-gyeong, Choi Jun, and Jeong Jae-hee, among those who have been in K League for a number of years.

Hwang Jae-won makes it for the second year in a row, as too Joo Min-kyu while Lee Seung-woo is in for the third year in a row. Cesinha also makes his third appearance but missed the 2022 iteration due to injury.

Only Jo Hyeon-woo, who is in his fourth Team K League squad, Lee Seung-woo, and Joo Min-kyu remain from the Team K League squad that faced Tottenham in 2022.
