Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership clash against Dundee United. The Scottish Champions travel to Bavaria to face Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League Playoff second leg. With that game in mind, the Irishman has made changes from the side that lost narrowly on Wednesday evening.
In goals, Kasper Schmeichel starts.
Auston Trusty and Cameron Carter-Vickers start in the central defensive pairing.
Jefferey Schlupp and Tony Ralston start at full back.
Callum McGregor starts alongside Luke McCowan and Reo Hatate. McCowan will be keen to impress given he is an ex-Dundee player.
In attack, Yang and Jota start out wide, Adam Idah is up top.
Subs: Sinisalo, Johnston, Taylor, Scales, Kühn, Kenny, Engels, Maeda, Murray
Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin has admitted to watching Vincent Kompany’s side in an attempt to exploit any Celtic weaknesses. Celtic, meanwhile, will be determined to go to Germany with three points under their belts.
